If you're feeling ready to get in the ring and throw a few punches, the latest track from Wilka has the attitude (and visuals) to be your spirit animal.

Built around a driving beat and pulsing synth stabs, the video showcases a performance from the boxing ring, but the track itself is right at home on the dance floor.

Previously releasing music under the name [Pat Piasta](https://www.emptyspaces.co.nz/pat-piasta-small-talk/), Wilka (meaning she-wolf in Polish) is refined and intentional as a creative force. She's heavily involved right across the project, with the level of attention to detail apparent from it's output.

Co-written and produced alongside Devin Abrams, *Villain* is about taking back your power after being pinned as the 'bad guy'. Needless to say, the tension and energy in the song make for a compelling combination that is totally infectious.
