Mim Jensen finds light in the dark on fearless new EP Shadow of the Gift

Following her haunting single Safe In Body, alt-pop force Mim Jensen returns with Shadow of the Gift — a six-track emotional deep-dive that’s as raw as it is radiant.

With confessional songwriting and cinematic production from Ōtautahi’s Will McGillivray (Goodwill), Jensen explores trauma, longing, and self-love through songs that shimmer with vulnerability and strength.

Flipping darkness into light, the EP’s title is a mantra in itself: Shadow of the Gift / Gift of the Shadow — a reminder that growth often lives in the places we fear to look.
