Ōtautahi/Christchurch-based artist Phoebe Vic delivers a playful new offering with her latest single, “It’s My Pleasure” — a vibrant, cheeky alt-pop track that arrives with a bold visual to match.
A multi-disciplinary artist and born performer, Vic has been steadily carving out her place in Aotearoa’s music scene. With standout performances at Go Live Festival 2024 and Nostalgia Festival, she’s quickly building a reputation for her vocal prowess, daring creative vision, and dynamic stage presence.
“It’s My Pleasure” follows her recent tracks Wasn’t That Deep and Mad Woman, continuing a run of releases that showcase Vic’s genre-blending style and sharp storytelling. She first made waves with her debut EP Strange Rituals in 2023, and she’s currently working toward her anticipated debut album, set for release in summer 2025/2026, in collaboration with producer Emily C. Browning.
The single is accompanied by a music video made in collaboration with Adam Hogan (Lore Films), supported by NZ On Air’s New Music Single grant.
“We wanted to make something cheeky, visually stimulating and silly that matched the vibe of the song, while adding an additional heightened storytelling element to it!”
The video leans into the song’s eccentric energy with colour, chaos, and clever storytelling. The single artwork, designed by Naomi Haussmann, captures the same tongue-in-cheek flair in visual form.
'It’s My Pleasure' is now available on all streaming platforms. Watch the music video here.
