tee. shares stark and stirring debut single ‘BURNOUT’

tee. steps into her solo career with an evocatively powerful debut single. ‘BURNOUT’ features haunting melodies and textured layers – like a slow-building storm that never quite breaks, suspended in tension and vulnerability.

BURNOUT is a deliberate unraveling — a track that leans into emotional fatigue, overstimulation, and the quiet weight of carrying too much for too long. The lyrics move in spirals: “feeling like I’ll break in a minute” — a line that lingers long after it’s sung.

Featuring vocals from Iris Zhang, BURNOUT moves through sparse production and carries a quiet intensity. Co-written with Alayna Powley, the track marks a new chapter for tee., best known until now as one half of sibling duo Ersha Island and a string contributor to artists like TSENATE, Reanne Borela, and Carawei. With BURNOUT, tee. introduces a more intimate and reflective creative voice.
