TEEKS is back. After three years of silence following his acclaimed debut Something To Feel, the award-winning has returned with ‘Red Light,’ a sultry anthem of desire, identity, and raw self-expression.
Over seductive guitar plucks that build into hypnotic drums and shimmering chords, TEEKS croons, “Boy I feel the rush when I’m riding, with you the temperatures rising, are you feeling brave tonight? Kiss me when we hit the red light.” The song strips back layers of inhibition, capturing the thrill of a late-night drive with a lover, where passion collides with vulnerability.
Co-written and produced with Rory Noble, ‘Red Light’ arrives alongside a moody visualiser shot in Tāmaki Makaurau by Ray Edwards, TEEKS’ trusted creative partner. Together, they deliver an evocative exploration of intimacy that’s as magnetic as it is fearless.
Announcing the track, TEEKS shared: “This is just the beginning of what’s to come, but I couldn’t let the year end without giving you something. I stepped into this phase with an open heart and mind, ready to have fun and fall back in love with creating.”
This is TEEKS, unfiltered and unapologetic. Listen to ‘Red Light’ now.
