# Rhythm & Alps double down on local talent with Aotearoa artists centre stage on lineup

Rhythm & Alps has announced its 2026 lineup, with a strong contingent of Aotearoa artists joining international headline acts for two days of music in Cardrona Valley.

The festival takes place on December 30 and 31, with **BENEE, Fat Freddy’s Drop, Shapeshifter, NO CIGAR, Borderline, Powder Chutes, Where's Jai and Wax Mustang** among the leading local names announced.

The wider lineup also includes**:**

Rhythm & Alps says its support for New Zealand music extends beyond the lineup. The festival is locally owned and operated, with organisers highlighting the role it plays in supporting local artists, crews, suppliers and communities.

The festival has a strong connection to the wider New Zealand scene, creating opportunities for homegrown acts to share the bill with international names at one of our major summer festivals.
