Raw Collective show renewed creative focus ahead of their upcoming fourth studio album

Pōneke hip hop groovers, Raw Collective have dropped another smooth track stacked with chill vibes. The eight piece band are building to an upcoming album release and if this latest song is anything to go by, listeners are in for a treat.

Featuring Iharaira Starr, Tables Turn moves through off-beat reggae chords and interwoven vocal exchanges, picking up momentum with a chorus to soundtrack your evening drive and the horns to carry you away into the night. It's got a rap verse and a sense of togetherness that feels locked into the rhythm. And so it should - the song has been ten years in the works.

A friendship, shared stages and mutual respect led to a chopped up sample and a chorus hook. Over years of collaboration the song become a full scale band creation, morphing through time and space to become the track we hear today.
