VIP (Very Important Persian) marks a standout new era for CHAII, immersing her in a realm entirely of her own while staying true to the artistry and mystique that have defined her work. Emerging from the world of Planet Persia is not only her new 14-track second album, but also a run of intimate tour dates across Aotearoa. The tour kicks off in Wellington on 19 November, before heading to Auckland on 20 November, Raglan on 21 November, and Mount Maunganui on 27 November.

The labour and sacrifice poured into this album highlight CHAII's commitment to her craft, her self-expression, her identity, and the celebration of female strength and resilience. With the release of VIP, the world will also see the care and passion woven into every aspect of CHAII’s work, along with her deep appreciation for the fans who have supported her through the demands of bringing this album to life. She works closely with her husband, Frank Keys, who co-produced both this album and her debut, Safar, back in 2024. This new project embraces the art of world-building, paying homage to the beauty of Persian culture, infused with 2000s nostalgia and reimagined through a contemporary lens. Bold, atmospheric, and beat-heavy, CHAII is back!

This next chapter is a testament to artistic pursuit. After relocating to Sydney to bring this project to life, VIP is proof that CHAII’s world is only getting bigger. Set to light up stages across Aotearoa alongside her loyal band, she will close out 2026 with a celebratory performance at Monument Festival in Coroglen.
