Win tickets to see Deafheaven and Nothing live in Auckland

American black metal innovators Deafheaven return to New Zealand this July for two exclusive headline shows, bringing their acclaimed new album Lonely People With Power to the stage alongside special guests Nothing.

To celebrate, Empty Spaces is giving one lucky reader the chance to win a double pass to the Auckland show.

Over the past fifteen years, Deafheaven have carved out a unique place in heavy music, blending blistering intensity with sweeping melodies across landmark releases including Sunbather, New Bermuda, Ordinary Corrupt Human Love, and Infinite Granite. Their latest record, Lonely People With Power, continues that evolution with an ambitious collection exploring masculinity, family, trauma, and identity.

Their reputation as one of the most captivating live bands in the world has seen them perform everywhere from Coachella to Primavera Sound while sharing stages with artists such as Slipknot, Knocked Loose, Chelsea Wolfe, and Mono.

Joining them are Philadelphia shoegaze favourites Nothing, whose immersive sound and latest release A Short History of Decay have earned widespread critical praise.
